Blood of the Beast is the story of an international French eco-terrorist group that has taken its name, ‘Le Gang de la Clé de Singe,’ from Edward Abbey’s novel The Monkey Wrench Gang. They originally formed to combat large corporations that showed little or no regard for the environment, but recently have decided to wage a world war against all poachers, big game hunters and big game safari outfits as well as anybody anywhere in the world that targets, kills, profits and or supports the killing of any animals that are endangered or any animals that are hunted for sport in the name of Mother Nature.
They attack and kill anyone who they feel is an enemy of nature all over the world, from elephant poachers in Africa to Japanese whalers in the Antarctic. Their targets range from a pro-football cheerleader to a wealthy ex-presidential candidate and his family, to a Nazi sympathizer.
They always leave a special calling card of a yellow flag emblazoned with a black skull with crossed wrenches hung around their victim’s necks, along with a note telling why they took the action they did. They are ruthless and show no mercy; be it man or woman, there are no exceptions. They are considered by just about every nation to be pirates & outlaws and are constantly on the run. They are backed and well financed by a secret international syndicate who support their cause in fighting the greed and self-righteous belief that the world is ours to destroy.
